On 14th November 2008, CMAT hosted the first World Music Seminar - an exciting afternoon with contributions from international guest speaker Gerald Seligman, General Director, WOMEX, and local artists including David Hinds (Steel Pulse), Zirak Hamad (Infusion), Carlos Munoz (Caliche), Dennis Seaton (Musical Youth) and Pritam Singh.
Jamma played live on steelpan during breaks, and Black Voices, Milton Godfrey, Diabel Cissokho, Caliche, Pritam Rhythm Tribe and Infusion provided dynamic and uplifting mini-performances before the seminar came to a close.
