The Mighty Chalkdust
As part of Black History Month 2009, CMAT's Black Routes Touring programme in association with The Drum, CMAT had the priviledge to welcome Trinidad & Tobago's veteran Calypsonian, the Mighty Chalkdust to its studios. The Mighty Chalkdust gave a very informative lecture on the history of Calypso, beautifully underlined by spontanious verses of calypsos.
We very much want to bring the Mighty Chalkdust back to Brum in the near future - but we cannot do it without you!
